Annie believes well-told stories can start wars, make people fall in love and build sustainable brands. In her role as CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi S, Annie integrates her world caliber communication skills with the team’s remarkable creative firepower and strategic know-how, creating a formidable force for good. Annie leads the team’s the efforts to “make sustainability irresistible” through purpose-driven strategy, engagement and communications programs.
Annie joined Saatchi & Saatchi S in 2012 after nine years of experience as President of Cohn & Wolfe, San Francisco, where she helped establish the office in one of the world‘s most influential business regions – one that has spawned both the technology and green revolutions.
Annie has 18 years of communications experience including editorial positions with U.S. business and technology publications and strategic marketing communications roles for dozens of companies, from start-ups to multinationals. While at Cohn & Wolfe, Annie launched and led the global Sustainability practice, which was dedicated to communication strategy around triple bottom line business behavior. Prior to Cohn & Wolfe, Annie was VP, Corporate Development, Account Services and Human Resources, at Wilson McHenry Company.
In December of 2008 Annie was recognized by PR Week as an industry leader on the annual “Top 40 under 40” list. Annie is on the advisory board of Sustainable Life Media‘s Sustainable Brands conference and has spoken on green consumer behavior and business responsibility at numerous conferences and events. Annie has a BA from the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio and earned an executive MBA certificate in Sustainability from the Presidio Graduate School in the Spring of 2010. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and two children.
