Richard, an MA and LL.M in Law from Cambridge University, is Saatchi & Saatchi’s Worldwide Executive Board member responsible for driving new ways to help clients transform their brands and capture sustainable value.
Richard joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 2003 as Chairman & CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa, having graduated as a Sloan Fellow from London Business School where he is now Adjunct Associate Professor of Marketing. He teaches on 3 Executive Education programmes, and runs an elective for MBAs and EMBAs on Communications. He has also run programmes at IESE, Columbia, the Judge Business School in Cambridge and Said Business School in Oxford.
Richard has worked recently with leaders from Procter & Gamble, Toyota, Diageo, Vodafone Global Enterprises, Santander UK, Nordea, Novo Nordisk, and PwC, with whom he has collaborated extensively over the last three years.
Richard co-founded the Manchester United Supporters’ Trust to promote fan ownership of the club; is Chairman of Planting Promise, a sustainable educational enterprise in Sierra Leone; and is a trustee of the British Heart Foundation for whom he chairs their £50 million Mending Broken Hearts Appeal.
